An Estero community news group posted an October update saying Phase II of the East Corkscrew Road widening is still targeted for December 2026, with paving under way on the north side. The update also says a new Aldi off Corkscrew Road is aiming to open in December and Chick-fil-A construction is moving ahead; neither company has announced a date.
