Frederick Taylor, 38, of North Fort Myers was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison after pleading guilty in March to distributing methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida said. Prosecutors said he ran the operation in the Palmona Park neighborhood through lower-level dealers and sold nearly a pound of meth to an FBI informant. A search of his home turned up several guns and about $12,000 in cash.
