The Naples pizzeria LowBrow Pizza & Beer is building out a nearly 5,000-square-foot restaurant at the MidTown at Bonita development on Bonita Beach Road. The owner expects to open in late December, with a menu almost identical to the Naples spot. A hiring open house is set for Nov. 1 and 2.

Farmer Mike's U-Pick on Morton Avenue ends its 12th annual fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 31. The farm offers a 5-acre family corn maze, a haunted maze on Friday and Saturday nights, pick-your-own pumpkins and sunflowers, and hayrides. Tickets are sold online only.

Olde Naples Chocolate, which makes handcrafted chocolates, Florida-themed treats and gift boxes, now works out of a unit on North Diesel Drive in Bonita Springs, open weekdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It ships orders nationwide and supplies local businesses, WINK reported in a feature on the company.

The City of Bonita Springs' free Happy Haunts Immersive Halloween Experience runs nightly through Oct. 31 in downtown Bonita Springs, with decorations, lights, projections and music from 5:30 to 10 p.m. There is no candy on the stroll itself; trick-or-treating is part of the Downtown Bonita Alliance's Trick or Treat on Old 41 on Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 p.m.

A vehicle drove into Mel's Diner on Trails Edge Boulevard in Bonita Springs around midday Sunday, Oct. 18. The Lee County Sheriff's Office confirmed the crash and said the driver was transported, and a patron told WINK News she saw people being treated for injuries. The cause and the number of people hurt have not been confirmed.
